How do I register my business on CaleDoHub?

Go to /inscription-pro.html, fill the 5-step form (~5 minutes). Provide : company name, RIDET (NC business ID), category, commune, contact details. Listing is live on all 14 platforms the next day.

Is registration really free?

Yes, 100% free forever, no commitment. The Free tier includes : standard listing, contact info, 1 category, 1 commune, SEO, dedicated page. Upgrade possible to Pro (2,900 XPF/mo) or Premium (8,900 XPF/mo) anytime.

How to claim an existing listing?

Our directory pre-references NC pros from public sources. If you see your business listed, go to /claim.html, search, click "Claim", provide business email + RIDET. Validation within 24-48h by our team.

Where can I see your pricing in English?

Tarifs are at /tarifs.html (French only currently). Quick summary : Free / Pro 2,900 XPF/mo / Premium 8,900 XPF/mo (~€24 / €74). 14-day free trial on Pro & Premium.

Do I need an account?

No, browsing is free without account. Account recommended for : favorites, alerts on new pros, multi-quote requests, newsletter subscription.

How do I find a pro?

4 ways : live search /recherche.html, interactive map /carte.html, commune hubs /en/communes.html, category hubs /en/categories.html. Plus Ctrl+K search box accessible everywhere.

How to leave a review?

On each pro page (/pro/{id}.html), section "⭐ Customer reviews" at the bottom. Fill name, email (not published), rating 1-5, comment. Reviews are moderated within 24-48h before going live.

How do I install CaleDoHub as an app?

CaleDoHub is a Progressive Web App (PWA). Android Chrome → menu → "Install". iOS Safari → Share → "Add to Home Screen". You get an app icon, fast access, partial offline mode.

Is the site mobile-friendly?

Yes, fully responsive. Works on smartphones, tablets, desktops. Dark mode toggle in header for night reading.

Is the public API really free?

Yes, under CC-BY 4.0 license. Cite "caledohub.com" in any reuse. CORS permissive, 5-min cache. Full OpenAPI 3.0 spec at /api/openapi.json. Developer portal : /developpeurs.html (French, examples cURL/JS/Python/PHP).

What endpoints are available?

6 REST endpoints : /api/pros.json (filters), /api/stats.json (live aggregates), /api/communes.json, /api/categories.json, /api/reviews.json (Firestore rules dependent), /api/indexnow.json (auth).

Rate limits?

No hard rate limit (5-min cache protects upstream). Soft limit ~100 req/min. For heavy usage, contact us for a dedicated key.

Can I embed the interactive map?

Yes : <iframe src="https://caledohub.com/carte.html" width="100%" height="600"></iframe>. For white-label without CaleDoHub branding, contact us.

🔒 Data & Privacy

Where is data stored?

Firebase Firestore (Google Cloud), Sydney region (australia-southeast1) for low NC latency. GDPR compliant, plus NC data protection.

Is my data sold?

Never. No monetization of user data. Your info is used only for CaleDoHub service (listings, messaging, anonymous aggregate stats).

What analytics do you use?

Plausible Analytics. No tracking cookies, GDPR-compliant without cookie banner. Open-source, EU-hosted data. Public dashboard : /stats.html.

Right to be forgotten?

Email contact@deep-com.com. Complete deletion within 30 days (Firestore + logs + backups). GDPR-compliant.

Is English spoken in NC?

French is the official language. English is widely spoken in tourism (Nouméa, Isle of Pines, Loyalty Islands resorts). Less common in rural brousse. Many businesses accept English correspondence.

Best time to visit?

July-September (dry season, 22-26°C, whale watching). Avoid November-March (cyclone risk, hot & humid).
